All modes of transportation: FAA, PHSA, USCG, FRA, FMCSA
Step 1. Clinical alcohol and drug assessment is completed with a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
Step 2. Treatment and/or education is recommended to the employee.
Step 3. The employee follows through with given recommendations.
Step 4. Employee meets with SAP for Post Evaluation to determine the employee's compliance with given recommendations.
Step 5. Upon successful completion of all requirements employee is eligible for return to duty drug test.
Step 6. Employer determines if employee can return to work and resume safety sensitive duties.
Return to duty process is completed!
After completion of the SAP process FMCSA employees will be cleared on the Clearinghouse.
